چکیده
Abstract Recent advances in inorganic nanomaterial-based theranostics enabled imaging-guided molecular targeting and drug delivery, various combinations of theranostic systems. The term “theranostics” is defined as diagnosis processed with therapy simultaneously a specific connection between diagnosis. nanomaterials, representatively carbon, metal, ceramic, semiconductor-based exhibit their unique characteristics to be used applications. However, the unveiled human biosafety nanomaterials for clinical use has become major concern. Therefore, this review, we compiled recent research on vitro vivo applications, along discussion how particle formulation, size, surface functionalization, test species, condition affect biocompatibility. Furthermore, progress challenges development biocompatible applications were discussed. In conclusion, appropriate precautions biosafe administered, can proposed have excellent potential future application.
